23rd Network Consolidation Programme on Sustainable Peacebuilding (June 13 – June 17)

The challenges for foreign policy and diplomacy have changed with current issues such as climate change and additional security risks posed by new technological developments. The programme will discuss peacebuilding work by governments and civil society actors, as well as formats for sustainable peace education in the context of global issues. Participants will be introduced to approaches and tools for non-violent alternatives to conflict resolution through mediation and conflict management training sessions and workshops.

This event will take place in presence in Berlin. Applications are welcome until March 6th.

14th Network Consolidation Programme: Cross-border cooperation (June 26 - July 2)

We will make the 2020 cancelled trip a reality at the end of June 2022. Together, we will look at very different examples of cross-border cooperation along Baden-Württemberg's external borders. The trip will start in Stuttgart and end in Strasbourg.

There will be no new call for participants as they have already been selected in 2020; for participants who do not have time this year, alumni from the waiting list will be invited.

Scholarships: UN summer academy on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs (June 27 - July 2)

This year we are once again awarding ten scholarships to participate in the online UN summer academy on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.

Alumni 4 Alumni (starting in March)

The alumni programmes of Training for International Diplomates are not only made for our alumni, they are also fueled and inspired by them. In March 2022, we kick-start the second edition of alumni4alumni, our alumni-centred programme composed of three inspiring formats. Mentoring relationships, language tandems, and thematic interest groups offer room for exchange, networking, and mutual learning between the alumni and selected partners. Through these formats, alumni can stay connected, nourish our network, and develop themselves.

This event takes place digitally.
